One of the biggest problems at fantasy games is that magic never really works. The Dragonbane project wants to change that.

Some events at Dragonbane will be highlighted with special effects. These include recorded and real-time produced sound effects, a wide range of light effects, sleight-of-hand and other stage magic, specially-made technological equipment and pyrotechnics.

All people designing, building and operating the Dragonbane special effects are professionals possessing the required licences for this kind of work. Most of them make their living making effects for theatres, tv-companies and other events. All participants wanting to perform visual magic at Dragonbane are required to attend the proper training.
