Please visit us and say hello (Esa)
Building camp events

There was heavy rain all day long and it hindered our activities badly.
In the morning most of the team was dropped off to the building site. Jan and Giulia were left at the school for kitchen duty. Esa, Gabriele and Erik went out to find roof tiles promised by a local private donor. The first half of the tiles were picked up after a series of misunderstandings.
Tiles and lunch were transported to building site at 14 o'clock. After eating and unloading the cargo Max, Erik and Davide were left to work as Esa, Jan and Gabriele went out for rest of the tiles. Rest of the team was evacuated back to school exhausted by working in the rain.
Second cargo of tiles was taken to the building site at 19 o'clock. Our building team of the day had made some draining and wall modules and cleared the surroundings. Our builders noted that we need a new special wall module for longhouse #2. The team was too exhausted to unload the cargo, so the trailer was left on building site.
Notes:
Several locals drove by the building site without stopping or greeting. We are not happy with this conduct and are considering countermeasures. You can visit us, but simple "drive-by" seems suspicious.
Other building activities were delayed since we had to make draining to keep the road from being washed away.
Needs:
We are low on fuel, food supplies and four and five inch nails. We are making a supply run on Monday but we feel that we should get some cheap nails from Finland if possible. We will buy some nails ASAP to satisfy our urgent needs.
It looks like we need an oiling pump for our air-compressors to keep them running and to keep the warranty.
We hope for a dry tomorrow.
