Last roof trusses up (Timo)

Åsen, Sweden

In the morning Niki, the new guy [Markus. Editor's note] , Anni and Jeremy left for home in their respective countries by the way of Uppsala. Normally, Sunday was supposed to be a resting day, but due to the fact that Bengt was still with us we had five people and thus were able to put trusses up, we decided to have a full building day with wake up just one hour later.

11:25 Arrival at Cinderhill. A sunny but windy day seemed to give good possibilities to finish the last remaining nine trusses and thus longhouse #4. We knew that Bengt would have to leave at 16:00, so we knew we didn't have that much extra time.

12:30 The crew had some quick sandwitches and fetched more 'Jesus nails' [6 inch nails. Editor's note.]

15:50 The last truss is up, just in time.

16:15 Bengt left the area.

17:45 Going back to Åsen. Later on in the evening the crew had sauna and a three hour long planning meeting for the remaining part of week.

01:15 Going to sleep, finally.
