Paperwork (Sanni)

Dragonbane diary
Tuesday, October 18th, 2005
[place unknown to webmaster], Finland

My Dragonbane work started about 7.30 P.M. after my java programming examination. While sitting on the bus I thought about gamedesign problems but didn't come to a conclusion.

The weather is really getting colder now. I guess it will go sub-zero tonight. Should take mittens tomorrow.

Anyway, when I got home and opened my computer it was about the time of our IRC meeting with Eeva, who is to be part of the Finnish information crew. So we talked a while and agreed on what she will be doing first (finding active handicraft-, larp- and other forums in the net, a very
useful task!).

About 9 P.M I had a quick visit into the world of seismology, just to be sure that I have all material I need to finish tomorrow's exercises in the morning.

My grand task right now is to find out how many of the registered people that have not paid are not coming to the game at all. So I spent the rest of the evening exploring the portal and reading people's sign-up information. We'll have to change pretty many of them after we had the sign-up form updated. I guess I found a new bug in the portal while doing that. Then I picked up the mail addresses of all players from other countries than Finland to send them mail. (The time it takes saying it is way lesser than the job took!) Finnish people I have already contacted but no one seems to have a archive of all the other players so it's better to be sure.

I wrote a letter yesterday already but when I read it today it was lacking some additive things like the contact information of national coordinators. I rewrote the mail sent it. I hope all of the recipients will come!

After doing a couple of earthquake exercises I got a few returned mails. Oh well. I'll try to reach them by phone tomorrow.
