Woke up at 13:00, already an hour late for the IRC meeting agreed with certain IT people. Luckily all others were also late. A liter of tea and 10 minutes later the IT crew was gathering to our IRC channel. Had a headache for the third day in a row.

Briefing took place. We had loads of IT tasks ahead, most of which I hadn't seen since mid-90's when I actually did things like these as my work.

During the day Teemu noticed that adding new discs to our RAID array takes over six hours per disc and we have six discs to add. Whooah, this would take looooong time.

The day was productive. Some six or seven hours later I was writing report of days progress:

• Intra is working again
• All of our servers are now properly secured, with mirrored and backed up discs
• The version control (SVN) is now working for all who need it

I also learned to use LVM, which makes disc partitioning so much easier. I wish this would have existed back in the days when this was my work ...

In the evening Rambo popped in on the channel from abroad. He fixed web form issues. Now we also have a working participation form where one can change and edit ones choices, finally.

Another IRC meeting agreed for tomorrow at 17:00 EET.
