Inspiration struck on Christmas eve (Morgan)
Dragonbane Diary

The long anticipated Christmas break started a week ago, and I found myself hopelessly ill. My throat was sore and my energy was low. Despite of this I decided to migrate my computer from Windows XP to Linspire 5.0 (Linux OS), which took a lot more time than anticipated and drained me of all my remaining energy. Therefore half the break went by without me getting down to the work I had to do for Dragonbane. My worries and frustration grew, especially since I promised my girlfriend that I would not turn on the computer during Christmas eve - we celebrate the holidays on the 24th.
Our tradition since a couple of years back has been to watch the seven odd hours of extra material on the extended DVD videos of the Lord of the Ring trilogy, and this year was the final year, and the Return of the
King was on the menu. I do not know if it was the DVD alone that inspired me, or if it was the vitamins I started to take the other day, but I could not fall asleep once the documentary was over at five to
midnight. After tossing and turning for ten minutes I realized that it was not Christmas eve any more, and my girlfriend was fast asleep, so I decided to go down to my mask studio and start the work on the Ceremonial Dragon Mask of Cinderhill. At 4 AM I decided I had to sleep and left the mask in the state it was.

Atleast it started to look like a real reptile from one of the sides. I hope it will be finished for painting in January. Now I just have to get around to write all the stuff I am suppose to. Happy Holidays!!
