Work and play (Morgan)

Tough day today.

Started with extra rehearsals for our current production of the Iliad at 11 am (I am studying for a MFA in Ensemble Based Physical Theater at Dell'Arte international in Blue Lake, California for you who did not know). That was followed by driftwood gathering for puppets for the play.

I finished the work at 6 pm, then started my Dragonbane work. I started by finishing off the sculpture of the Dragon mask. Now I only have to cover it with papier maché and paint it, put some fasteners for the body fabric (which I'll have to saw) and fix the inside so that it fits different people ...

I spent the night answering e-mails and writing guidelines for the coaches. I am not sure how I managed to become the Coach team Coordinator too. I think I am a maniac. A happy but overworked maniac. The instructions were done and now we can hopefully get all the coaches doing the same thing. I am only sorry that I did not have time to finish of the acting guide today. That was my play.

Well, well, it is 5.40 am and I am just about done with my D-Dairy for this time and off to bed. Rehearsals and puppet building tomorrow, and maybe the first layer of paper on the mask. That school paper would be good to finish, and some of that acting guide. We will have to see what tomorrow brings.
