Easter hatchling (Heiko)

During Easter the Dragon Team had an intensive three-day session with the Ponsse foresting machine chassis.

Support structures for the front cockpit are now ready, as is the cockpit floor. The huge, hundred kilogram fastening points for the tail and the neck/head assemblies are completed.

The original crane was removed from the chassis, and all hydraulic systems dismantled for cleaning.

Transmission and pressurized air systems under the rear cockpit were exposed for inspection and readied for maintenance for coming weekend.

All in all, this was one of the most productive Dragon building sessions - as it should, as we will be assembling the neck and tail in a few weeks!
