Good progress on roof trusses (Esa)
Building camp report
Thursday, August 18th, 2005
Åsen, Sweden
The day was sunny. The morning looked bad in a weather perspective so almost everybody wore extra clothes and were feeling kind of warm during the day.
Everybody except Antti left for the building site around 9.15. We took both cars.
On site most of the people began doing trusses. Erik, Esa and Sanni thought about making a brick run but when we re-checked the distances we realised we were leaving so late that lunch would be very badly delayed by this trip. Tomorrow then.
Esa and Erno made stairs for most of the day while the rest of the crew produced trusses. Aleksi fetched our lunch and Antti.
After lunch Erik phoned about the generator. It was fixed. Sanni and Antti fetched it and things considerably sped up.
We set up two trusses, we now have a total of 24/72 trusses completed. We also have all the rest of the components required for trusses of two buildings ready.
We evacuated the building site at 19.15 and took our most precious small tools with us.
Notes:
The Pajero is acting funny, it claims that there's no oil pressure but we have checked the oil and everything seems fine.
