Fantastic scouting trip to Älvdalen (Updated)

The first scouting trip to the game area itself was an immediate success! Dragonbane team members visited the commune of Älvdalen for two days to take pictures and measurement at the game area and, more importantly, meet the locals.

In Älvdalen, the Dragonbane team made a short presentation of project for all interested locals. The response was just overwhelming! Many local companies were eager to find ways to cooperate with the Dragonbane project.

The visit at the game area resulted in hundreds of pictures, drawings and calculations. And only getting lost once in the game area which is quite big, some 3x5 km…

The short meeting scheduled with the landowners, Besparingsskogen, became a long session with a win-win solution at the end. The landowners will donate some building material (tree trunks) to the Dragonbane project. In return they wish to use the Cinderhill temple as a hunting lodge after the game…

As a result of the first scouting trip to Älvdalen the Dragonbane project is proud to present five new partners: Älvdalen Commune, Besparingsskogen, PC Skog (computer company for forest owners), Naturbruksgymnasiet and the private company of PersLars Larsson.
