Local companies support Dragonbane
During the building camp, local companies in the Älvdalen area have been teaming up with Dragonbane supporting the project and the building crew in need.
The wood and sawmill company Wedde & Co AB has accepted the freshly cut lumber from the game area and exchanged it for instantly usable sawed and cut planks. The lumber has therefore been transported only about 35 km to the game area, by one of the biggest lumber trucks fully loaded. All the sawed material we need for building Cinderhill still didn’t fit in …
The commune of Älvdalen has given us access to the Åsen school, which has been made the Dragonbane local headquarters. Sometimes it’s quite convenient to have a roof over your head, when working outdoors for a whole summer!
The tourist information centre in Älvdalen has supported Dragonbane by giving us access to a high speed Internet connection in Älvdalen. New pictures can therefore be uploaded the same day they are taken on the game area if needs be.
The car garage Servicemakar’n saved the return trip of the Dragonbane crew by helping us fix a car that broke down in the area.ICA Supermarket in Älvdalen supports Dragonbane on a more personal level by giving a certain off-the-shelf discount to project members currently on the job.
Private donors are also supporting the project, giving us building material they aren’t using themselves. Roof tiles, wall tiles, material for building long benches, we are equally grateful for all the support the project has been receiving.
Big companies in all glory, but Dragonbane can’t be done without support from the small local companies and people as well. Thank you!
