Honey from one man company

Finnish honey producer Hunajametsän kuu KY has agreed to supply the Dragonbane project with honey needed for cooking and baking in the village of Cinderhill .

Hunajametsän kuu was founded a few years ago by Teijo Ahonen and has one employee, Teijo Ahonen himself. The honey comes from approximately 200 hives located in four communes (Kuhmoinen, Kuhmalahti, Luopioinen and Padasjoki) in central Finland close to the national park of Isojärvi . Products of Hunajametsän kuu include the company’s own brand and season’s specialities such as Christmas honey. New products are developed continuously.
