Jewelry workshop in Varkaus, Finland, in January

Our Dragonbane props master Esa Arbelius will be organizing a workshop in Varkaus, Finland to make small props for Dragonbane. The workshop will be held on thefourth weekend of January 27.-29.1.2006, in the workshop of Tommi Laine, a local blacksmith. Participants are to announce to Esa by e-mail, esa.arbelius@gmail.com.

Items on the workshop list include bone and horn jewelry, wooden gameboards for the Cinderhill game "The Dragon and the lambs", birchbark items, one or two small tapestries and other items according to ideas. Suggestions are very welcome.

Lodging can be arranged on the floor of team members or Dragonbane supporters in Varkaus. Hotel room bookings can be made at own cost. There will be food available on behalf of the project from the common cauldron.

Dragonbane will help making travel arrangements by car from nodes in Finland, but can't pay travel expenses from abroad.

Sign-ups for the workshop weekend can be sent to Esa, including notes on areas of interest during the workshop weekend, possible food allergies and wishes for travel arrangements.
