Pegasus gives the dragon wings

The Dragonbane project has made a partnership agreement with the Rolls Royce Corporation. Rolls Royce Aerospace has delivered an RR Pegasus engine for the Dragon team in Loimaa, Finland.

The supposed delays in the making of the Dragon have been an elaborated plot to attach the engine to the chassis without fuzz. The Dragon team leader Heiko Romu says: "It makes a grown man cry to see this baby fly."

The chassis manufacturer Ponsse Oyj has confirmed that thee chassis structure is properly reinforced for speeds up to 365 miles/hour.

The Pegasus engine has previously been used in Harrier VTOL planes and in several movie effects.

The first test flights are scheduled for April 19th, 2006.
