Seasonal Greetings of Dragonbane Team
Dear Dragonbanees and Partners,
It's time for seasonal celebration due rapidly emerging Christmas. The Dragonbane team has done very long hours on last few weeks. There has been two full days of Dragontamer movie shoots, an IT-admin meet, recreational DB event, special effects testing, hard partner discussions and much more.
Thanks to varying partners our team has had possibilities to work efficiently. Extra thanks to Ponsse who provided Dragon team with proper working gears for winter, thus our relentless work to get Dragon ready in time can continue despite the ugly and cold weather of winterly Finland.
The next important milestones will be:
- 13-15.1.2006 software developer and it-admin and other geek meeting of Dragonbane. The software development of the Dragon, as well as many other issues are being tackled in coding and meeting weekend. Open to all geekish participants as well. Inform your participation in advance to Timo. Location: Nemein office in Matinkylä, Espoo, Finland.
- Jewelry workshop in Varkaus, Finland, in January
More about that event from our web:
http://www.dragonbane.org/en/news/2005-12-12-000.html - Wintercamp at Cinderhill in Jan/Feb 2006, Mikko Kekäläinen and Mikko Hansen will arrange a wintercamp in Cinderhill, taking winter pictures and even more, moving the heavy parts of pagoda to the mountaintop.
February 2006. More people on that workcamp are also accepted. - Witch movie shoot. Two full days of Witch culture generation,
photographing and filming. Likely to happen in Espoo, Finland.
Our website is being updated during the coming holiday season to include
the latest texts, pictures and other material. By next year, we expect to have
couple of new major partner contracts, a lot of excellent photos and other
additional material available for your convenience.
A big thanks to our crew, partners and active players as well.
Year 2005 has been a success despite of strong turbulence we experienced
in the first quarter of the year.
We will try our very best keep you even better posted on the progress.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year!
On behalf of the entire Dragonbane Team,
Timo Multamäki
