What to bring to the game - Cinderhill
Cinderhill is a society where personal items don't exist. Thus, all tools, instruments and such are possessed by the whole village and mustn't be jealously guarded during the larp.
You should bring with you:
- your character's garments (see Costumes)
- sleeping gear. This should include two or more blankets and a pillow, or more if you wish. You can also bring a hammock to sleep in. Remember that all beddings should be neutral-coloured and made of natural materials, such as fur or wool. The players who don't bring hammocks will be sleeping on simple wooden beds that have no mattresses. That's why you should have at least two blankets: one to sleep on, and one to sleep under.
- a natural-coloured towel made out of natural materials (linen is excellent, cotton is fine as well)
- necessary medication and personal hygiene items
- eating utensils: a spoon, a drinking cup, a plate, and a knife for eating and preparing food
You may also bring
- additional containers and cooking equipment suitable for the game world
- musical instruments
- equipment and tool for handicrafts
- other items suitable for your characters
- additional food. This may contain
- raisins and other dried fruit
- dried vegetables
- dried meat or fish
- herb teas
- spices
Please avoid nuts and other products that people can be very allergic to.
What not to bring
All equipment you intend to bring to the actual larp will be checked prior to the event. No unsuitable or dangerous items can be taken to the game. A person found to possess controlled substances (such as illegal drugs) will be turned to appropriate authorities.
